Movie Review: Ted

Movie Review: Ted

Hello and Welcome!
Synopsis:

"John Bennett is a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish...and has refused to leave his side ever since."

In this movie review, I'll be discussing the movie Ted. I was skeptical of this movie actually being a real movie, due to...well the character Ted and how can they make a movie out of a cute stuffed teddy bear. The more I looked into it, the more I realized that it is going to be a real movie...hah, no pun intended there! Anyways, it is a very funny movie made by the creator of...*drum roll*...Family Guy, the tv series. Seth MacFarlane, voice of Peter Griffin (most known) in Family Guy, is the voice of Ted. Then you got other great actors: Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlberg, Mila Kunis (Megs voice on Family Guy), Giovanni Ribisi, Alex Borstein and Joel McHale. The story is basically what you get, plus a side situation that tends to pop up at times and then its part of the main story. All in all, it is a very funny movie with funny references to other shows, people and a plus for having a very good moral towards the end of the story. I recommend to not bring children under the age of 15 or so, since there are sexual references and sexual views/situations in it. I was surprised about that, due to it being rated R and not NC-17, but it only happens once so I can see why it was rated R. Even though this movie made me laugh, you do get parts that will make you cry and cute moments as well, so all balances out. A very well made comedy movie, with very funny moments, references, directorial live-action debut and a good cast. ***** 5 out of 5 stars for this feature!! I hope you enjoy the movie as much as I did, decide to go see it and enjoyed my review of it!!
