Movie Review: The Incredible Burt Wonderstone
Synopsis: "Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone and Anton Marvelton have ruled the Las Vegas strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burt's growing ego. But lately the duo's greatest deception is their public friendship, while secretly they've grown to loathe each other." -IMDB.
Experience: This one wasn't on my must see list, but I gave it a try. I asked my parents what type of movie they wanted to see, genre wise, and they picked comedy. So at first it starts slow, but every movie starts that way to build up the story. It was funny throughout the whole show and it shows what friendships are about and what they mean. It is an old vs new magic tricks along with what are magic tricks or just world records kind of "tricks". Kind of like David Copperfield vs Chris Angel type of competition/deal. Funny, witty and some lessons to be learned, but if you like comedy movies or just Steve Carell movies, then this one is for you. Jim Carrey looks totally different here, I must say.
