Affordable Care Act Events!

Todays blog is going to be different from the rest of my posts. This one is going to be strictly about my job and some events that are going to happen, if you so kindly can spread the word about them!

So basically my job is to promote Mt. Sinai Hospital and its services. We do have many types of programs, besides the usual clinics and services a hospital brings. What type of services do we have? We range from teenage pregnancy prevention to job seeking services to even offering The WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program and even finding treatments for illnesses that are in our daily lives (i.e. obesity, diabetes, etc). We also have specialty care services in many of our clinics and also have over 10 clinics around the Chicagoland area known as Sinai Medical Groups (SMGs). We have passed several grades that are in the green category which means we were given a report card for many different categories and we were 100% or Green for most in the Hospital Report card scale. We always try to improve in any of those categories, but especially with our customer service!

At Mt. Sinai Hospital under the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare we are able to assist you through the whole process of enrollment and let you know what you may be eligible for. If you have tried going to the Marketplace.gov website on your own or just confused with the whole process, we can help! Wondering if you qualify for tax-credit that be put towards your premium due to the private insurance you have? No matter what, we can help you out and not leave you confused or with questions unanswered. How do we determine what you might be eligible for? All we need is your W2 or Pay stubs from the last 30 days, A Drivers License or State ID, Social security card(s) & Policy Numbers from current health insurance if any. Undocumented person or family? No problem, we can find a free clinic near your home that will still offer you medical services. Be alerted that March 31st, 2014 is the deadline for enrollment & if not insured by April 1st, you will get fined!

If you can not come to the Hospital, we just might have an event coming up near your home. So if you would like to stop by one of these locations and get enrolled, you are certainly welcomed to do so. Bring a friend as well!! February 16th: Chicago Indoor Sports - 3900 S. Ashland from 9am to 3pm!

February 18th: South State Medical Center - 5050 S. State Street from 1pm to 6pm!
