Short stories, illustrations, and other things..

Weather

Well I haven't done a mini review on this part for a long while. So recently it has stayed in the good tolerable temperatures. Mainly in the 70s and lower 80s, we'll be hitting the upper 80s and possible 90s this coming weekend. We hit that sometime last week or so and well, it wasn't pretty. Just hope it stays as nice as it has been, in the 70s close to 80s.

The nothingness...

Sorry about not updating this for the past....month. Nothing new or exciting has happened after those 2 last movie reviews, until recently oddly. I did go to a baseball game with my family to see the White Sox play, did go to a restaurant that needed to be gone from our list, did see "Dark Shadows", and gone out-of-state maybe once or twice...can't recall lol. I haven't seen any of those other movies I want to see, that I posted in my last blog post. Hopefully that will change soon.

On the grind again!!

So I decided on my spare time, to get back to writing short stories. I figured why not now while I have the time and well, have been waiting for inspiration to hit me and it did one night. I wrote a poem for my sister for her 30th birthday and decided to snatch that moment and run along with it. So far I have finished 3 illustrations for this short story I had put on hiatus for...2 years, I believe. I have 3 other illustrations to start and complete on Photoshop as well, so at least that part of this story is close to complete. I have yet to completely type out all I had written of the story and email it off to my editor, get a better title for it, and well get an ok first of all from my editor if she can possibly do it again for me. I cannot post any of the completed illustrations at all, until the whole story is complete and available to download and read. I will post it on my other blog, but will mention it here and on my Facebook page.

If anyone wants a review of "Dark Shadows", "The Dictator" and hopefully which ever movie I get to see next as well...I will gladly do the review. I feel as if the previous reviews I did no one read nor cared for, so if you really want one (sure no one will do a request anyways), then let me know. I also went to "Outback Steakhouse" recently, so if you'd like a review for it or other restaurants as well, then let me know. I appreciate those who do read this blog and care about the reviews and anything I write in it...Thanks!
