To square one and... debuts!

Well, I'll make this an actual update besides about The X-Files, but that series will be in this post as well haha. So, let's move on!

Acute Iritis
So back in the Easter timing this year, I fell ill with a cold or shall I say Allergies that developed into a cold. Yes, it sucks and no I didn't know that I even had allergies. Technically I don't, I'm not allergic to anything- meds, food, pets, etc. I'm glad for it, but I guess once I moved to Austin, it either developed or they're just worse down here than in Chicago. Anyways, a week after my cold started to settle and leave me, my eyes felt weird.. just not right. I never had this before, so it scared me. My eyes will suddenly get watery, move in the forms of light spasms and were very red around the coloring of my eyes. Every fast move, like a car, will just make me feel ill and almost to the point of wanting to nap and close my eyes quickly while rolling them. I guess you can say, like if you were tipsy or drunk?, I never been drunk so I can't or shouldn't compare it to that. I let those symptoms take control and thought to myself that it will go away on its own. It occurred for 3 more days until of course I had enough and knew it wasn't going to go away on its own.

I first went to a Rediclinic, to see if they knew what I had. Bam! They told me I might have acute iritis. I had no idea what it was then, but after tons of googling its either caused by inflammation or trauma to my eyes (aka got hit). Rediclinic Dr told me that I had to go to ER or my eye Dr ASAP. I freaked and started to cry and while that occurred Eric would call the eye Dr to see if they can fit me in. No, was the short answer. I had no choice but to go to ER and so I did. Basically I was told it was it there, but I should see a specialist. So got a referral and waited to be seen. Specialist saw me and poked my eyes as well and... I was back to square one; I may and may not have acute iritis. Trust me, this condition, wasn't acute one at all (pun intended).  All in all, it went away and I resulted as to why I got it cause of strong dry coughs I had during my cold. Oddly enough, I got it again, but in one eye now. What I'm doing now to prevent it or just ease it is just taking vitamin C pills, fish oil pills and anything else that has tons of vitamin C in them. Eric is being very helpful and caring through all of this, he has bought me the pills and cooked me dinner full of that big C! I just hope it doesn't occur again.. soon.

Rain, rain, don't go away?
We have been having tons of cloudy days and some very rainy ones. Many, I'm sure, who has lived in Austin all of their lives will agree that they need it around here. They've been in long droughts for I believe several years or in that category at least. Lakes need it, grass needs it, heck.. everyone needs it somehow around here (farmers, etc). I'm glad we are getting it, but give it a rest for 2 days at least. We've been on this spell for a week straight and yes, some pauses here and there, but... geeze! As of right now, the sun is out full blast, but will it stay this way?

Now, on to the fun part I guess!

Aquarius

So, there will be a new show out on NBC in late May (May 28 to be exact). Its about David Duchovny's character, a detective, being in the era of Charles Manson and asked by a friend to help locate their missing daughter. Of course we all know the cult he had going on and maybe this girl joined it. It sounds interesting in my opinion, but let's see how it goes!

Hell or Highwater

I think you see a pattern here right? Well, David Duchovny has debuted in being a singer. His titles: Actor, director, writer, and now singer. I'm sure there's more titles he's got under his belt or the one he got from going to Yale. Anyways, his album had a release date of May 12th and I'm not sure if its officially out, but I have heard one song from it and boy, can he sing. I just might have to convince Eric to take me to Best Buy or Target! Go and check it out! I know I will.

X-Files Updates
So, we finally made it here! We finally got a debut date as to when they will start airing the show. It will be on Fox Sunday nights (9 or 10pm, depending on time zone) and the date *drum roll* will be on January 25th, 2016. We have also found out that there will be a mix of mythology episodes along with monsters.I guess they're keeping hush hush on these episode, just like the 2 movies. Well, if they're going that extra road then it means they will all be great! Even David Duchovny doesn't know what they will be about in great detail.. just the monster and mythology parts. You can hear him say so in his interview here with EW. Let's see what more clues they give us in the next coming weeks.

And it keeps pouring down..

Weather
Wow, we hit the big one! We are under a Winter Storm Warning, because of Winter Storm Saturn, since 3am this morning and it's still going until 12am. I think I haven't seen it stop, not even for a minute. I believe they said for the first 5hours of 2-3 inches, then the 2nd half of 6+ hours 4-6 inches. I think its more than that, combined, but we'll see. At least my dad has a great snow blower, but lets hope the jealous crazy neighbors don't mess up his piling method by the garage. I found a really funny picture that probably describes how everyone in Chicago/Illinois feels about this storm...

Music
Lately, I been hearing great songs on tv commercials. When that happens, I try to Shazam that mofo song quickly, just to know who it's by and read the lyrics. Mainly, the lyrics are the ones that catch my attention to the song, but at other times its just the great beat. Here are 4 songs that have caught my attention already and downloaded recently:

*Heard this one in a commercial for the History Channel and instantly loved it! Love the music video as well.. don't mess with stuffed animals.

*I heard this one before and couldn't pin point it, but then I figured it out.. a commercial for Breaking Amish show on TLC.

*I heard this one on a commercial for a car. I forget what make and model of the car commercial, but yeah.

*I just heard this one on the radio. I'm not sure if it has been on a tv commercial, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Art projects and similar
So I have been improving my photography skills, my nail art skills, and well now on to a new boat in art projects. I have posted a preview recently of my most recent art project I'm working on in my Facebook and hopefully it catches on to get customers. Here is the preview:

My most recent attempt at a new nail art method:
Ombre Nail Art
I wouldn't mind doing this method for other people aka customers and I believe I got a customer already, but not sure if it's definite and if it will happen. I mentioned it as a joke, charging 10$ (cheaper than nail salons I'm sure), and well got a hit.. not sure if its true though, we'll see.

Voting and s'mere luck!
So my sis entered my nephew in a photo contest. Sadly it is not a photo I took of him, but still a nice fun thing to do while he's young. I'm asking people, anyone, to vote for him as many times as you can daily, when you can. Here is the link and enjoy!

I think I am, or my sis.. mom and I, are destined to see Theresa Caputo Live! There are tickets available for a show of her's coming soon here in Illinois and my God, I hope we can get those tickets very soon and be read. Hopefully we can, I need it.. I need a reading from my grandma asap!
