The beginning of a busy summer..?

Weather
We been having beautiful weather here, but started off this week with heavy storms and still continuing. Prayers and thoughts go out to the people affected by the tornado down in Oklahoma. I see many more new stories coming up about this and just the views from above covering the destruction path of the tornado are horrific. From homes and other buildings being there one day and then the next just gone.. as if they got exploded and nothing was left. I really hope everyone gets the help they all deserve soon there!

C2E2 2013

I had lots of fun this year going to C2E2 with my sister, bro-in-law and nephew! We saw lots of great cosplays by grown-ups nonetheless and did meet some individuals there from Cyanide and Happiness comic strip site. I did receive a live hand drawn comic scene signed by Dave and Rob with the topics of College and Airplane and boy, what a weird drawing I got in the end. I still need to find a frame big enough to place it in and well hang in my room. Besides getting Cyanide and Happiness memorabilia, I did get myself a Soft Kitty hoodie.. with cat ears on the hood, detachable paws as mittens and a tail on the back of it. To clear the air, no I AM NOT A FURRY! I got it cause I saw it a month prior to going to the convention on a site and wanted it badly. I don't buy stuff online, so it wasn't an option and once I saw that they sell it there it was a must buy and yes, I am a Big Bang Theory fan too. All in all, it was a fun day!

Busy bee
I'll clearly state that I have been busy as of late, the week after C2E2 ended. I try my best to update this blog with either movie reviews or any type of review- tv show/movies and I do apologize if it doesn't get updated as quickly as you notice something new on my Facebook personal profile page. To not get into full detail of my personal life here and would like to know how I've been doing, just send me a message on Facebook and I'll update you on that. For inquiries dealing with Movie Reviews, if you do see me post a status stating I'm watching a movie and DO want a review on it, please do not hesitate to post a comment underneath that status. Due to me being practically busy and not able to see all the movies on my "Movie List" as of late, I apologize for that and would like to be known if you DO really want a review on the movie stated on status. I do appreciate those who do ask for my insight/reviews on any movies or tv shows as of late.. Thank you! Anyways, I do apologize for late movie/tv show review posts or any type of posts as of late. Being a busy bee does make you tired til the end of the day and want nothing to do with the computer, if you're by one most of the day already.

Tv shows
 Breaking Amish: Brave New World

Yes, I'm a sucker for these type of shows. I did see the first season of these people and the "reunion" special as well. So far, only 2 episodes have aired and it's quite funny how they try to get where they want to get to- Florida. I did know some tidbits of some of the characters in it already, so it wasn't really a shocker when it aired. It airs Sunday nights on TLC, check your local listings for times!

Long Island Medium
Finally, her show has aired. So far, very sad stories have been shown. Yes, all of the episode are sad due to the individual losing a loved one and well going to her for a reading, but more into detail is what I'm speaking of. I'm glad to see her live show and wouldn't mind going to another one. Every Sunday, there is a contest to enter to meet her and get a reading from her and yes, I do enter every time! So wish my family and me luck on that part! Long Island Medium airs also on Sunday nights on TLC.

Under the Dome
I can't wait to see this on the tv screen! I do own the book, by Stephen King, and have tried to read it, but it is so thick that it got too heavy for me to read. This is coming out in June 24th in CBS, as far as what time in June it is still unclear, but trust me I will find out and let you guys know. For more information about the book or what it is about, check IMDb and here with a trailer. Enjoy!

Blockage to unblockage?
To stay blocked or to unblock... that is the question that rolls into my mind as of late. When its unblocking and its permanent, the frozen stage and wondering comes into play. Let it rest since nothing has been active? Move on? Or do the sudden move to let something happen? Those are the questions and paths and yet, I still freeze with all. That is all.

Things are brightening up!

Weather
Well, finally mother nature has brighten up her mood. As I posted on one of my statuses, "Goddamn, Mother Nature really needed or wanted a shower in April and wanted us as rubber duckies. At least we'll be smelling like flowers in May. Get it? No? Bazinga!!" Pure gold this coming weekend for us. 60s to even hitting 70s and well possibly 80s by next week. Hopefully this keeps up and stays!

Peoria, Illinois
So, this past weekend we had quite an adventure. Not only the road trip, but the view and heck an amazing show with tons of beautiful readings and messages! Yes, I did see Theresa Caputo from The Long Island Medium show on TLC. Sadly, I didn't get to meet her up close, but I did meet her husband Larry.

My sis, Larry Caputo, and me.
We got no readings, but I'm sure some were literally for us. Too many signs or short messages seemed like they were for us, but.. we let it slide due to other messages after the "main" ones. Before the show, we checked out the area and it was beautiful and it was a must to take photos.. especially me. Check them out on my Digital Blu Facebook Page and yes, they are marked and very noticeable. Alas, it might've been a long drive, but it was a fun adventure!

Tv shows
Brain Games
It's a Tv show on Nat Geo channel on Monday nights (check your local listings for times) that challenges your brain to work harder or just simply improve your attention to details and remember everything around you.  I've seen both episodes so far, On Demand, and I enjoy it a lot! It really does work your brain more and basically, its like Luminosity site game, but on the tv. I suggest you see it for yourself, but don't get fooled with their games or is it your brain playing games on you! For more info on this show, check the site out.

The Numbers Game
This one a quite new, with I believe one episode aired so far. Also on Nat Geo channel following Brain Games on Monday nights. Description: "Money. Sex. Marriage. Mortality. In each episode, data scientist Jake Porway tackles one of life’s most daunting topics revealing the surprising science behind them. From mind-bending stats, hilarious man on the street experiments, and interactive game play, this show delivers the answers to life’s mysteries and gives you the tools to help take charge of your destiny and change your life forever." This one seems very interesting and once I heard what it was about, it was mind blowing to the point of.. well seeing what they're talking about and possibly testing some of them out. I have yet to see the first episode, premiered April 22nd, so hopefully I can catch the following episodes to come. For more info and clips of this show, check it out here.

Hemlock Grove
Exclusively in and for Nextflix, an original series that can only be seen possibly through your Netflix subscription! A very interesting show that only has 13 episodes so far as its first season and all are available now. I'm starting to watch this and yes, I will be making a review for it soon.. once I finish watching it completely. I'm only on episode 3, just a heads up, so keep checking back here for the review. I am not sure if this is available on dvd or any other format, if you do not have Netflix, so bare with me to investigate that as well. The description: "A teenage girl is brutally murdered, sparking a hunt for her killer. But in a town where everyone hides a secret, will they find the monster among them". Once again, check back for the review and other info I gather for you! Can't wait? Check out the Novel based on this show.

Its here!

C2E2 is finally here!!!! Yes, I will be there with nephew at hand and with a theme, on Saturday only. A theme? Come find me to see what I'm talking about. If you're going, have lots of fun and explore!!!

So many surprises and not enough time!!

Weather
We're stuck in the 40s and 50s this past week due to Hurricane Sandy. My heart goes out to all my friends in the East Coast and everyone else basically who had a bad impact or experience during the hurricane!! I hope all of you recover really quickly in your losses of any kind and level- whether you lost someone or plainly your home with your precious items that had memories to you! Oddly and frankly, there were 2 versions of this hurricane according to The Weather Channel and well the UK. Sadly most of us don't listen to other countries and their views/thoughts of something this big and BAM, they happen and people say there were no warnings.. there were warnings honestly! Anyways, us Midwestern peoples didn't get that much damage as those in the East, but we did get the 40mph winds and lots of rain. Again, my heart goes out to all the families during these rough after math times that Hurricane Sandy left behind. As for this new week, we're still stuck on the 40s or 50s, but possibly a surprising uplifting rise in temps by the end of the week.. "according" to Weather Channel, but they're always "wrong" or off by several degrees, so just keep that in mind folks!

Tv shows on the rise
I love watching tv, whether it is to educate me with something that relates to me or I just never knew before or just for entertainment along with enjoyment, I'm in!! Short and sweet with these as best as I can:

Ice loves Coco
I just love their show! Their connection as a couple, how crazy their life can be due to situations that hit their paths, but its just all surreal and not scripted!! Their love for each other is always shown and how they support each other through their battles. She might be ditzy at times, but its part of her and her personality and what I love and admire in Coco, her never giving up. Then you got Ice-T and him being all rough and tough, but you don't see that.. you get to see his funny and caring side as well. Their love is real and true and the advice they give, on relationships, at times is on cue and I always agree to them. I'm glad they came back for a 2nd season.. catch it on E! Channel on Sunday nights, check your local listings for times!!

Ghost Adventures
My all time favorite new show for ghost hunting! I used to watch Ghost Hunters, but they hardly find anything and don't have the equipment that these guys got or get. They always come up with many great evps, pictures, shadows, and so on. Every time they have new equipment to try out, they use it and find something with it! They do all their investigations at night and in total darkness to debunk or prove anything they come across. I like their lock downs at their locations and all of what they find. New episodes are on Friday nights on the Travel Channel! (I think Zak -guy in the middle- is cute!)

Long Island Medium & Breaking Amish
Both are on the TLC channel and new episodes on Sunday nights! Sadly both are ending quite soon or already have. For "Long Island", yes I do believe in her and anyone like her.. except psychic readers over the phone or so ((odd I know)). Every time I see her show, I cry and get reminded of my grandmother, depending on the persons story. If I ever have the chance to bump into her or get a reading from her I would love it. I really would love a reading from her in regards to my grandma, might give me peace in my life. I would want people to go to her if I pass on as well, but yeah.. its a small wish of mine. For "Breaking Amish", wow.. is all I could say! The rules those people have, their life, and everything in between is shocking, but educational at the same time. I just can't believe what it all goes down to now in the last 2 episodes... just odd yet shocking. It was fun to see each of their paths and what it led to for each of them in the show and I can't wait for the 2 hour finale next Sunday, so intense!!

Short Halloween week sneak peek updates
I had fun in the Haunted House my best friend, a friend of hers and I went to. I was the leader in our small group and yes, some things or should I say people scared me. I went dressed up in my costume aka Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3. After that, seeing the Silent Hill: Revelation 3D movie was just awesome to do! I knew how Heather felt in Silent Hill while I was in the Haunted House, it was almost the same experience in my opinion. Review of movie is up and if you want to see me wear my costume, click here. I finally don't have to worry about money or be bored at home now. I'm officially busy when my schedule permits me to head out towards Downtown and start my shifts there! I'm also officially an aunt as of Halloween morning!! They are both fine and at home now. If you would like to see photos of my nephew, then go to my Digital Blu page on Facebook.

FYI
Personal Facebook page is on official lock down again. Friends list will be cleared in time again soon and this is the last time I will say and do this type of action there and mention it here. I'm tired of all the negativity, "lack of attention", or lets say lack of interaction. Plain and simple!! I don't need this BS in my life, especially in my Facebook!! I'm sick and tired of feeling of being used or giving me pity of any kind, especially being betrayed. Certain things will be diminished in time and I fair thee well on those 'cause there are no sneak peeks of my life, either in or out!! Best song to describe this:

....just a warning, for now!
