A long summer..

Weather
Its been so jumpy with this topic. From 80s to 70s and even waking up and getting out of your home in 50s weather, its unpredictable. This coming week, its been forecast-ed to be only in the 80s, one day close to the 90s. At any rate, its never set in stone around here, literally.

Tv shows:
Orphan Black

I saw a preview of this show in a commercial, I believe. It interested me right off the bat, but I totally lost track of when and what channel it was air in. I recently found it On Demand on Xfinity/Comcast and decided to watch it. Let's just say, I got my whole family hooked on it and they're not that easy to do that with. Its sci-fi mixed with mystery and drama genres (and some sexual scenes) and well, I like those 'cause heck at times it reminded me of The X-Files, but less alien-like cases and moments. It gradually grew with interest and tension, so it was a big plus for me. I definitely know it will be back next year, so I can't wait for the new episodes to show up. There's only 10 episodes in this first season and it aired in BBC America. Those British people do know how make shows don't they lol? Preview for it is here: Trailer

Under the Dome
Have been somewhat on and off track with this show. I know at least that I can also see it On Demand and catch up with it, but so far it is getting better and better. Everyone so far has of course secrets and knew that main event was going to happen, but who's part of it and who can relate to it? On CBS Monday nights, check your local listings.

Sleepy Hollow
This one looks interesting to watch. Too bad there isn't a Johnny Depp playing Ichabod Crane in it, but hopefully it has the same feel and such as that movie, acting too. It'll air on FOX this fall, I'm not sure if they have said exact month and what nights.

More jobs elsewhere...
Even though I have one already and enjoyed it for the first 2 months, but it has been dragging me now into the crappy zone. I like the hours, the environment, but sadly.. not the people who call in. Some are tolerable to manage, while others are demanding and not understanding. Even if you go to the bottom of the jar to pick up the last crumbs or pieces to help them out, they lash out and never appreciate it. All I see it as is if you call us, our organization, it's cause you need help right? Don't think you're a beggar and/or if you do or use too much of our help, don't yell at us for not helping you out and either not getting enough or not being a quicker response. Either you need the help, then get it, but don't waste our time and breath telling you our services if you don't want it!! That's my 2 cents of rant there on that.

Seeing how this job is going and some changes arising, in which I don't like at all, then I'm venturing out of state in finding jobs. I've tried tons of other times to get jobs around here and only got this bite? The only job I got now? Seems not promising around here. Since someone has come into my life again and by my prayers answered in that department, it's why I'm mainly seeing options out of state now. I think my welcome around here has been over done and well over used to the point of seeing myself as a bother or in the way. I think it's best for me to move on and out, actually start my life and think for me for once and my happiness. I got no one, as in friends, holding me back here, only one employer catching my bait that is my resume out, and well someone actually wanting me in their life and not giving up now and wanting to support me.. all that is well, a miracle and blessing, an opportunity basically. As much as I adore my nephew as my own child, I will miss him and hoping I don't officially leave till after his 1st birthday. I must stay for that and hopefully he won't forget me.. I hate that thought coming into my mind, but I think right now is my chance and opportunity to start my life and well pay debts I'm due to pay around here with others. I can do that while away, with a better paying job and that is my goal. We'll see how things go in this, but a vacay is set and a goal in the very very near future.. literally!

Its officially summer!

Weather
Once it turned summer, officially on June 21st, it got really humid here in Chicago. For 3 straight days, we were in the 90s and well kinda still counting. We may not have hit official 90s weather afterwards, but the humidity and just icky-ness of it makes it seem so. So far just thunderstorms, on and off, and well that doesn't help due to floods and well making still feel very humid at times. We'll see what happens while this week continues.

Tv shows
Under the Dome

On CBS Monday nights, check your local listings for show times! This one has officially started as of yesterday and it is based on the Stephen King novel by the same name. I have the book, but dear lord, his books are always bible thick and heavy that one glimpse at it or them.. I gave up after a couple of small chapters. Its sad, I know, but I'm not a bookworm and as hard as I try to engage in reading any book, any type, it's just difficult. Anyways, so far in the very first episode of it.. was very suspenseful and graphic, but if you want it to be as close to the book as possible, you must add what you need to add. So, if you like Stephen King, his writing and work, then this one is a must see mini series.

Catfish: The Tv show

On Mtv Tuesday nights, check your local listings for show times! I saw the movie by the same name or similar, Catfish, and I did see the first season of it. I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm so glad I never got Catfished. Why? due to me being my own advocate and investigator. Today, the very first episode of the new season has aired and so far, your jaw can just drop in an instant with this show. So if you're into seeing a show like this, then give it a go!

Awkward

On Mtv was on Tuesday nights, but it ended for now approximately 2 weeks ago. How it ended, we all saw it coming, but did Matty see Jenna kissing Collin? My opinion, I believe so. Of course something was gonna happen with Ming and The Asian Mafia leader and obvious signs that Lissa was the one who "accidentally" killed Ricky. As I stated in my Tumblr page of what I think will happen next, its just going to be a mess for Jenna and in a sense, there will be no turning back with her. Interested on getting the seasons on dvd? Check Amazon to pre-order part 1 of season 3 now and while you're there, check the other seasons too... I know I will soon!

Blackhawks bandwagon
Congratulations Chicago Blackhawks! Your hometown is very proud of you and hopefully I can see the parade on Friday in the location I'm at for work.. so I can take awesome pictures of the parade and hopefully the Stanley Cup! I need to venture out towards The Art Institute museum to take photos of the lion statues with their Blackhawks hats. I bet they look cute with them on, lol!

The beginning of a busy summer..?

Weather
We been having beautiful weather here, but started off this week with heavy storms and still continuing. Prayers and thoughts go out to the people affected by the tornado down in Oklahoma. I see many more new stories coming up about this and just the views from above covering the destruction path of the tornado are horrific. From homes and other buildings being there one day and then the next just gone.. as if they got exploded and nothing was left. I really hope everyone gets the help they all deserve soon there!

C2E2 2013

I had lots of fun this year going to C2E2 with my sister, bro-in-law and nephew! We saw lots of great cosplays by grown-ups nonetheless and did meet some individuals there from Cyanide and Happiness comic strip site. I did receive a live hand drawn comic scene signed by Dave and Rob with the topics of College and Airplane and boy, what a weird drawing I got in the end. I still need to find a frame big enough to place it in and well hang in my room. Besides getting Cyanide and Happiness memorabilia, I did get myself a Soft Kitty hoodie.. with cat ears on the hood, detachable paws as mittens and a tail on the back of it. To clear the air, no I AM NOT A FURRY! I got it cause I saw it a month prior to going to the convention on a site and wanted it badly. I don't buy stuff online, so it wasn't an option and once I saw that they sell it there it was a must buy and yes, I am a Big Bang Theory fan too. All in all, it was a fun day!

Busy bee
I'll clearly state that I have been busy as of late, the week after C2E2 ended. I try my best to update this blog with either movie reviews or any type of review- tv show/movies and I do apologize if it doesn't get updated as quickly as you notice something new on my Facebook personal profile page. To not get into full detail of my personal life here and would like to know how I've been doing, just send me a message on Facebook and I'll update you on that. For inquiries dealing with Movie Reviews, if you do see me post a status stating I'm watching a movie and DO want a review on it, please do not hesitate to post a comment underneath that status. Due to me being practically busy and not able to see all the movies on my "Movie List" as of late, I apologize for that and would like to be known if you DO really want a review on the movie stated on status. I do appreciate those who do ask for my insight/reviews on any movies or tv shows as of late.. Thank you! Anyways, I do apologize for late movie/tv show review posts or any type of posts as of late. Being a busy bee does make you tired til the end of the day and want nothing to do with the computer, if you're by one most of the day already.

Tv shows
 Breaking Amish: Brave New World

Yes, I'm a sucker for these type of shows. I did see the first season of these people and the "reunion" special as well. So far, only 2 episodes have aired and it's quite funny how they try to get where they want to get to- Florida. I did know some tidbits of some of the characters in it already, so it wasn't really a shocker when it aired. It airs Sunday nights on TLC, check your local listings for times!

Long Island Medium
Finally, her show has aired. So far, very sad stories have been shown. Yes, all of the episode are sad due to the individual losing a loved one and well going to her for a reading, but more into detail is what I'm speaking of. I'm glad to see her live show and wouldn't mind going to another one. Every Sunday, there is a contest to enter to meet her and get a reading from her and yes, I do enter every time! So wish my family and me luck on that part! Long Island Medium airs also on Sunday nights on TLC.

Under the Dome
I can't wait to see this on the tv screen! I do own the book, by Stephen King, and have tried to read it, but it is so thick that it got too heavy for me to read. This is coming out in June 24th in CBS, as far as what time in June it is still unclear, but trust me I will find out and let you guys know. For more information about the book or what it is about, check IMDb and here with a trailer. Enjoy!

Blockage to unblockage?
To stay blocked or to unblock... that is the question that rolls into my mind as of late. When its unblocking and its permanent, the frozen stage and wondering comes into play. Let it rest since nothing has been active? Move on? Or do the sudden move to let something happen? Those are the questions and paths and yet, I still freeze with all. That is all.
