Setbacks..

Weather
Well, this one has been a doozey. We have been told that we would be getting harsh winds and rain, but only the winds did occur. Most of what you see happening in Texas, the tornadoes and the alike, are North of where my husband and I reside in. All mainly in the Dallas area or the panhandle of Texas. So far, we have been in the humid spell and it seems it might stay that way. Who knows!

TV/Movie Reviews
I have decided to move this portion to my other blog, my Digital Blu blog. So far, I believe I have done like 2 audio recordings and none are edited. I am only starting, but if you would like someone to be natural and real then I guess you reached the right place for that! I might make this into a more concrete hobby of sorts, once I feel more comfortable and have time to do so.

Exercising
I was part of a "competition" of sorts at work with walking. They did have prizes for 3 runner ups. I wasn't really doing it to get any of those prizes, but to motivate me into exercising again. It lasted for a good 2 1/2 or 3 months total and I wasn't a winner in any tier. Now I feel as if I should find another part of my body to work out besides my legs. I'm sure my legs still need to be toned or need more muscle, but you need to give your body or a specific part of your body that you're more focused into a break as well. I need to focus more on my stomach, but I need to find easy and effective workouts that will tone it down and build muscle. I will need to find these on my own, without any app, to help me. Apps, in my opinion, tend to remind you which in turn turns into routines and tell you to not forget your workouts or homework per se. I hate homework and I don't like things pushing me to remind me to do stuff. I will just quit if people or things tell me to do things on a daily or force me to. Slow and steady wins the race after all.

Events
I have yet to find events for June and well, with my husband accepting a new job position, we have decided to not go to A-kon. It disappoints me to this day on that news, since it was going to be a mini vacation for us and I was going to officially use my new lens with cosplayers while practicing shooting them, well those ideas are out the window. I'm not sure how long we are able to not setup or schedule a small vacation for us, due to his job, but I'm grateful that he got one. I guess now we can do events for either Saturdays or Sundays, depending on other factors of course.

Photography
I have decided to have a goal for myself. New month, new goals! I have one already in progress with my house and maintaining it organized and clean. This project is going slowly due to resources and other factors like weather. So far the weather has been in our favor and I just might work on our extra rooms this coming weekend, so we shall see. The other small goal is to photograph all my collectibles of The X-Files that I have. I always wanted to do this and its not a challenge, but a goal. Once again, I hate calling such things as challenges because if you force me to do something, I will eventually quit. For now its called a goal and the goal is to photograph one item each day and edit it as well to display in my personal Facebook page. If I decide to add it to my Digital Blu Facebook page then I will. For now, it will only be in my personal page once they are all edited! I need to dive back into product photography since that is my main focus and make it into a career, I hope. I will be needing to step up to it since my husband is wanting to make a small business and well with the items we will be selling, they need to be photographed at some point right? I don't want to dive too much into detail with that small business for now, since we don't know what to call it and we are getting all the major tools we'll be needing for it slowly. I will announce it once we are fully ready!

Around the corner

Weather
I am so glad that when I went back home recently, that I brought the cold weather with me. Or at least I give myself that credit. Some people appreciate it and others don't, but just take it as I go. We have been in the 70s and have hit the 50s in certain days. For now, we have been consistent with being in the 70s during the day and at night around the 50s or even 40s. Hopefully, it stays this way throughout the end of the year.

Tv shows
Well wit the lack of cable in our household, I can't really keep up with the new fall tv lineup. We mostly stick with watching whatever is on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Now. We have finished WestWorld, Mindhunter, Stranger Things 2, Fuller House, and The Keepers. The most recent ones we finished are the ones that I listed first and yes, I don't mind some documentaries. We just jumped into watching The Punisher and Once Upon a Time season 6 and so far they are promising! If you would like any reviews on the ones we have finished please let us know. I might need to plug in our Pi to catch up on "How to get away with Murder" since Hulu removed I believe the first few episodes of this current season. If there are any other shows that you would like to recommend to us, please do so and we will get to it. You guys already know what type of shows we like, going by the ones I have listed above, but it not we like sci-fi, fantasy, true crime, crime, and comedies. We are all over the map and if we see one that interests us, you bet we will watch it.

Podcast, youtube, vlogs
So as I mentioned above, we do love watching tv shows and movies as well. We have been bumping back and forth on wanting to do a podcast or youtube channel to give our input on either. I just love watching and hearing other people's input or conclusions on certain shows. I was anxious for a youtube channel to come out to see what they thought on "Twin Peaks" and most of the time, I agreed with them and the others not so much. I had a lot of thoughts and conclusions myself with that show, but never expressed them to the public, only my husband and well anyone else who watched it around me. Eric has been thinking of making one as well and combine video games as well with tv shows and movies and I was thinking the same, but adding even more stuff to it.. not just being limited to 3 categories. Tv shows, movies and video games reviews and if we find a random article on Facebook that made us both laugh, then we will share it and our input about it. So if anyone is interested in wanting us to start one, then please leave us a comment here or on our Facebook pages and we will get on board to start it.

Photography
I am still on board with this hobby. I did step back from it for a bit, but my sister wanted me to do some photos for her small family and so I did. My nephew seems to be a natural born model. He went right away with striking a pose and just being prepared. I will definitely be taking classes in March and then follow that with other classes to help me in Lightroom. Maybe I will be more confident and get more sessions booked by the time I'm done with my first set of classes. I would like it to be an extra income for us or at least play money until I know I can make it into a business. I just know that I need to get better at it and be more confident with my work. Hopefully, I can get recognized this way for my Landscape photography part too, which is what I'm really passionate about. Once also I complete my classes, I will start building my portfolio along with the rest of my artwork from college. Then I can officially call myself a Multimedia Artist!

New Years
2018 is around the corner for all of us. How odd that it's slow, but ironically enough fast as well creeping up on us. I hope everyone has a better new year than what they had with 2017 and I sure hope Eric and I can travel even more as well. I would like to travel and just sightsee, that way we can have mini vacations and not be too stressed out about work or things that randomly pop up in our lives that give us issues. We had a lot of those in 2017, we don't need them too much or at all in the coming new year. Hopefully, Eric and I can have a great new year and actually go out for it to celebrate. Although it's nice to just relax and stay home sipping on some alcoholic beverages of our liking. We shall see and hope that its positive New Year for everyone! Be safe all!

2017... you sneak!

Wow, well everyone say goodbye to 2016 and welcome 2017. What?! Already you say? Yes, oddly enough. Hope everyone's New Year has hopefully started out great and if not, I hope it will soon for you and continue to be in the path you want it to be.

Valentine smush!
Whether you celebrate it or not, have a significant other or not it is always a good thing to spoil yourself with chocolate. It don't have to be in this specific day for you to stuff your mouth like crazy with chocolate or candy or anything sweet to your liking, but this time around you should. Unless you want to celebrate SAD (Single Awareness Day), which is tomorrow, but its up to you. Anyways, Happy Valentine's Day to those who do celebrate it or enjoy it! I already gave sushi to my husband as his "candy" and I got roses in return.

Weather
The weather has been a constant changes here, drastically and typical. We got days that were in the 60s or 70s and then the next drop down to 40s and 50s. Recently, it went from 80s one day to 50s the next, like literally. Its raining now here and do get periods of that, a week streak of rain, and then a hot week. I hope when I do go back home, the weather there is spring like or close to it, so I can get some great photos of Downtown and some iconic areas there. I need to practice more and dive into Landscape Photography again.

Photography and otherness
Well my photography has been improving. No I'm not a professional yet and even when I know my camera and all in and out like the back of my hand, I will always be learning. I have been straying from Landscape due to me wanting to learn Portrait to have another skill of photography on my belt, plus I got a new lens from my husband as a Christmas gift, so I've been playing with that as well. My passion is Landscape and I think I need to get back into that; I feel as if I lost interest and motivation all together for Photography and I don't want that occurring. I still want to take classes for this, but I will need to find time and mainly a ride to do so. We will see what I can do.

Puppy just turned 1 this past weekend. It all happened so fast and he grew up super fast as well. I just recently saw the movie "A Dog's Purpose" and it was sweet. It made me cry like over 5 times, so if you're a easy cry baby or sentimental, I do recommend seeing it, but bring tissues! I went home after the movie and hugged my dog. Don't let the controversy of the movie not make you go see it. If you google the movie, you will know what I'm talking about cause it will literally pop out quickly in the search bar. The other movie I saw is "Split" and it was great story line and well moral or meaning towards the end of it. Some tie ins as well come into play with the girls and the guy, but I won't spoil it much for those who want to see it. I would recommend it, but if you're the type of person who don't like the topic of pedophile or hints of it, then don't see it. I will be seeing or wanting to see "A Cure for Wellness", "Logan", "IT", "Insidious: Chapter 4", and others that I can't remember now. We will see if I can see them all, when they come.

Other than that, nothing has changed and hopefully new adventures await for us and everyone out there as well. Hopefully your year gets better or stays how it has been, but always on a positive note. Thanks for reading, until next time!

Adjustments!

Well I haven't written here since.. January, wow! So, many things have changed and gotten fixed, in my view that is. Weather has not been cooperating with us in Central Texas. We have been getting lots and lots of rain and some flooding has occurred in certain parts of Central Texas sadly. We do need it around here, but not to that extreme.

Movies
Well, we have seen a good number of movies. Some through Netflix and others in theaters and whatnot. We have seen from what I can remember are: Deadpool, The Boy, Jenny's Wedding, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Hush, Sinster 2 and Lord of Illusions. Most through dvds we bought or Netflix. It seems we're really into Horror or Suspense movies, which I don't mind since there aren't many out there that do it correctly anymore. All of the ones I have listed thus far are highly recommended to watch if you haven't already! I'm sure I have missed some to add to that list, but these are the ones I could remember for now. I think there are some movies that are still being waited on to be seen in theaters by us like: The Forest, The Darkness, X-Men: Apocalypse, Alice through the Looking Glass, The Conjuring 2, and you get the picture. Most have come out already or are in not the distant future, so we will see!

House additions
Well the house patio is coming along, but we always have to come to a halt, due to weather. Things have been getting even more organized and keeping it that way. We do have a garden going on in our backyard and that is a plus. One of our apple trees is already growing apples and its own apples is weighing down the branch. We do have a new addition to the family, in the form of a pet dog. We have had him for close to 2 months if not already getting there. He is a trouble maker, but he is getting well adjusted with us and a routine and loved. He knows several tricks and is getting there with other training, which is always a blessing. Car is also getting a makeover with parts soon, I hope, to be added once the weather cooperates and hoping to add more to it. One step at a time to add things here and there to our house and car, all things that are needed.

Wizard World
I can't wait till I get to go to this convention back at home. I will be able to finally get to meet my favorite actor, David Duchovny. He, along with Mitch Pileggi (Skinner) and William B. Davis (Smoking Man) from The X-Files will be there. I will get a VIP pass to see David Duchovny and yes a regular pass for my husband, so he can meet everyone as well. I will have the chance to take photos with all of them and well just an autograph from David. If all fails through, we will have fun anyways with my family. I just can't wait and so stoked or excited, whichever you prefer, but I can't hide it haha.

Fans, fans, fans
I'm sure I have good friends, close ones quite possibly, who like reading my blogs. I'm also sure I do have other people reading this blog as well.. one's that aren't an acquaintance nor a friend, not even anywhere in between those two. Some are called fans and others are "fans". Now there is a difference between the two. One is actually caring for you and want to know of your successes and strive for your best. The other is people who are just jealous, who follow, a pack of people who just want to put you down behind your back or in whatever way they want to and always have a negative view and tone of you and your world. Let's just say I'm talking now to those people who are the "fans", the jealous ones. I like how I have a "fan" base because guess what, their lives are obviously that boring to go do such things. Jealous of my life? My right way of doing things? Jealous that I actually have a man who cares for me that much? Jealous of my house or that I actually have one? I feel sorry for you and that you go on to check on this, that is if you do still, but it's your fault for going in the path you're on now in your life. I worked hard to get where I'm at and WE worked hard together as well, my husband and I. I'm sorry for you for not having an honest caring man, a stable roof over your head, and your life just giving you curve balls. Maybe you should reconsider everything you said and done negative and who you make friends with next time because look at where you are now. Do you like it? Quite possibly not, but whose fault is that? Only you are to blame. Thank you though for being my "fan" and dipping into my life and reading it out loud like a story book. At least it's that popular of a book to read and not pathetic. Just proves to me what type of person or people you are and the life you have. Least I am a leader and not a follower. Continue or not reading, but at least I know where I'm at and stand at. Bless your little hearts! For those fans who are the complete opposite, of who I spoke of first, thank you for caring the right way.

Its been awhile..

Calling center to topic calling
Well, its been a long while from my last post. Honestly, its literally been. Seeing my last post, a detailed one,  is when I was still in the calling center one in downtown. Well, I'm not in that one anymore since October, of last year of course. I got offered another job dealing with the Affordable Care Act that is going around nationwide. I help the public be aware of it, let them know that the hospital I work for can help them get enrolled, and just assit them throughout the whole online process. I enjoy it more than the last job, way better pay and benefits, and closer to home and so far easy with just taking to the public. The bottom line is that I enjoy it and enjoy that the people who do care about this new law act upon it because of me and come to our team to get enrolled and get covered.

Movies here and there
I have seen lots of movies since the last movie review post I put up. I apologize if you have been waiting for one in particular, especially when I say "review soon.." on my statuses on fb and none show up. At least you do get a heads up on what I've seen and if you're interested on a particular review, I hope you do comment on it saying you do want a review from it. I will update my list of the ones I've seen and if need to, just add those as a small list in my next blog post. Whatever it will help you and I out faster will do.

Shows come and go
The same occurs with shows as does with movies. Orphan Black was fantastic, with a lot of twists and turns. Those British people do know how to make shows. Well that one will return this new year for the second season. Californication is on its 7th season and sadly its last, with the season 6 on dvd out soon. Bates Motel will be back, Brain Games has returned, American Horror Story returning soon, and  I believe Under the Dome will return as well. Teen mom 2 is coming back very soon, Awkward will return in April, and there are some new ones that are interesting. There are so many others I'm sure I missed, so be on a look out for all these and more

Traveling and venturing out
This new job has its perks. Not staying in doors all the time and talking to fresh new faces daily. The pay got me to see my sweetheart Eric in his hometown in Texas and his family again. I got to spend a week with him and got a cool gift from his mom, a tablet that I'm using as I write  this. The photography business of mine or hobby is still there, but I've been very busy due to the new job. I'm getting tired as I continue to write, but an update is needed. Eric is becoming a health buff with hitting the gym and eating healthy, I will do the same except  the gym part and will set goals for myself  to accomplish and look forward to completing. More reading and writing, draw more, cutting back on soda again and due to the job, checking my health since I have insurance now. I got other goals, but they are more personal to me. Well that's all I need to say since I'm getting tired quicker.

Movie Review: Identity Thief

 Synopsis: "Unlimited funds have allowed Diana to live it up on the outskirts of Miami, where the queen of retail buys whatever strikes her fancy. There's only one glitch: The ID she's using to finance these sprees reads "Sandy Bigelow Patterson" and it belongs to an accounts rep who lives halfway across the U.S." --Google.

Experience: One from my must see list! Of course, as usual, you get introduced to the characters and well how everything starts and I got to give to you, I laughed all the way throughout the movie. What you see is what you get type of deal and if you love comedy movies, then this one is the one for you. You do get some points that will get to you and it will turn into a 360 on you the next. I love her witty remarks and moves and yet, it seems all too clever for actual thieves to get ideas off this movie or maybe the movie got the ideas from actual thieves. Lessons to be learned from this movie, but all in all very funny throughout.

Ahoy, its tax season....again! And reviews!

Well its tax season yet again. This time, I'm making my own excel sheets, oddly enough just like my dad does. I had to peek around his to see the setup and well, I'm on my way to get it all nice and neat. I bid good luck to all of you during this mess of tax season!! I just hope I get lotsa money back lol, but I also don't want to sound greedy... so I won't repeat that.

I haz my Hank Moody!!

Califronication season 4-- far right.
So I went to Target to buy some necessities of mine and lord and behold: Californication season 4 on dvd!!!  I wasn't expecting to find it at Target, but I'm sure glad I did. I pondered in buying it for a good 5 mins: "I don't go Fry's and Best Buy a lot. I won't find it anywhere else. I don't go anywhere else as well." Sooo I got it and enjoyed it quite well. As usual, it's very funny and if you can't handle nakedness all the time or sex or a mix of both, along with jokes of that nature and MA -ish jokes, then this show is not for you!! I like how many of the times those topics aren't involved and yet it's still funny in what everyone goes through in the show, every character. If you want a good laugh and well don't mind all the MA stuff, then go right ahead and Netflix it or however you see shows. This show is shown on Showtime Sunday nights and they're on season 5 atm. Sadly I don't have this channel so I miss out on it, but found a great site that uploads them quickly! If you would like this site, please message me for it!!

Loose ends and whatnots

So, we got the snow!! I think possibly over 10 inches in total. Sunday night, we got rain and thunderstorms and well Monday followed and the snow was gone or mostly gone!! We are getting more snow during the week, but it won't stick with temps being in the 30s or low 40s, so we'll see what happens. As for my lack of sleep, I have gotten sleep now finally. I stopped taking a multivitamin to see if it was the target and I believe it was. Other than all this, nothing new has changed, I didn't hang out with my grammar school friend- due to the snow falling dramatically on Friday, and well that's it.

Movies:
"The Rapture"

I saw this movie last night, thanks to the good ole' "helpful sites". Anyways, well it's good for what it explains, "God" topic. A girl has a good job by day and by night does risque events with a male partner and one day, she wants to change her ways towards God. Oddly enough, since God is brought up a lot in it since it's the main topic/reason of the movie, I really didn't like it...especially the part of "the boy/child". I also didn't like that Randy, David Duchovny's character, character leaves so suddenly. Above all, good topic, good story line, and well sad parts in it.

"Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"

This is a new movie that barely came out this past weekend. I do warn people that if you dislike tear jerker movies, then this isn't the movie for you. If you don't cry during some parts of it, then you have no soul or heart. I must admit, I did cry during it over 5 times. It's sad what the kid goes through to still be close to his dad and their relationship, but its a really good movie because of that as well. Its a sad, happy, adventurous and a bit of mystery all in one!! I really do recommend it, but if you don't mind crying or you have a heart and do cry, bring a box of tissues.....you will need it, lol!!

Christmas gifts completed!!

Weather

The weather has been getting worse and worse here. Its been flat on the 40s, usually going down than that into the 30s and well strong winds at times, but it seems the snow has been skipping us completely. Going to Minnesota, then Wisconsin and totally skips us and then back into Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and so forth. Kinda glad it is for now, but sometime this week or the weekend, we will be getting snow showers or flurries. Guess its skipping cause the ground here is still too warm, along with the air here as well...somehow lol. We'll see if the snow showers or snow in general sticks and how many inches.

~~~~~~
Gifts ahoy!
Well I had one gift or gifts already since 2 yrs ago for my boyfriend. Mishaps happened in order for him not to get it when I bought them awhile back, but now he will receive them. I just hope he doesn't have it or one like it already and well, that he likes it and puts it to use. Another I'm sure he'll be confused in, but it will still be sent lol. Got all my gifts for my friend Rainbow today! I sure do hope she likes them and well, I tried looking for some of the items she shows in her blog post of "wishlist", but oddly didn't find any close to them...soo I hope the ones I found and got for her can be "replacements/substitutes" to make up for the ones I couldn't find. One gift in particular I hope she really likes and I'm sure she'll know which one I will be talking about...all elements she likes in one item and I feel proud of myself for noticing that after the purchase :D!!! Both their gifts will be sent this week, it is my mission to. If I postpone that another week, they will not get there on time. Post office drags during holidays, especially during Christmas, so I will be gathering their gifts and shipping them this week and hope they arrive well/intact and on time!!
I'm not sure what to get for my parents. I got my gift early from my mom, but I think I spent it on other things. It seems the money went fast and disappeared from my wallet, once I checked it today to buy the gifts. It....stunned me really....cause I can't recall where I used the cash at and that scares me a bit. Alas, I'm not sure what to get my parents...I hardly ever do anyways cause when I ask them they say, "I don't need anything...so don't get me anything" and go on their business. My sister on the other hand, I totally don't know...since well, she did get her Kindle Fire already, lol. Mom's looking for a cover for it, so I can't get her that as well. Guess I can get her something Twilight-ish, even though I might need to wash my hands and well soul somehow once I purchase those items lol!!
~~~~~
Movies:
"Sometimes They Come Back"

Well I saw the whole movie and it was really good. There are at times where you would like to jump off your seat to beat up the annoying group gang and well give them a piece of their own medicine, but then you realize you can't. You can't not cause you're the audience and its just a movie, but well....you have to see it to understand this part lol!! It is once again a somewhat adventurous movie, with some morals, but in the end of it all...it works out and there is a moment that makes you want to cry as well. If you want to give this movie a shot, go for it. I found it on youtube in parts, so it should be still there and ready to be viewed.

Tv movie:
"Neverland"

This show barely started today, Sunday, on Syfy channel (check your local listings for times). It explains the story of how Peter Pan and everyone else, including the world Neverland, came to be known. At first it seems like a talkative type of movie, not wanting to catch your attention, but of course...as with any movie or so, you need to keep going to judge it better. Today was only part 1 of the show, tomorrow will be part 2, so check your local listings again for times!! I wish that they continue up to the part when he meets Wendy and well the rest of the characters we know of by now, but it doesn't they will go that far.
~~~~~~
Video randomness:
I just got to point out these 2 new commercials that are out. Finally Chuck Norris makes one, after all the talks for shits and giggles we, the players, do with his name in honor of him in the game lol!!
And this one I love for what she says, soo just for the giggles and heck of it I put in here:
Oh by the way, I have started to play this game again with my boyfriend, but we do use....free servers. If you play it that way and would like to know which server we play in, let me know!!
Reviews...
Movie Reviews:
"The Human Centipede"
Well, I finally got around to finishing this nasty blasted movie. All in all, I wondered, "This writer/director is nasty. What the hell were you thinking Tom Six?!?!" What can I say in order not to give anything away aka spoiler alerts? It's a nasty movie, no they do not show all the incisions, the victims are somewhat stupid...ok no they are stupid, what the hell is the doc thinking of, this doc has very odd fetishes...if they can be called fetishes, and well...how can they make another movie out of this concept? Again, if you're not into this type of movies, then I really don't suggest you watching it. I had a hard time continuing watching this movie; like literally I stopped watching it half way cause I knew the incision parts were coming and well...it might've taken me less than a week to get back into literally hit the play button to continue it. Kudos to you if you don't pause this movie at all aaaand you're willing to see the second part to it!
"Case 39"
I wanted to see this movie in the theaters, since it seemed really interesting, but I never got the chance to see it. Though I had the chance recently to see it through Netflix on my Kindle and I liked it. Here's a preview of it:
At first glance you think its the father or child abuse and well, case closed right? Wrong. In order for me not to give anything away, I'm going to say....Its not what you think a first glance in all you see in the preview above or in general. It's really got twists and turns and well you will think to yourself, "Really? Its that?!". Its a good terror-like movie that will make you think and no you won't get scared to the point you can't sleep at night. It's a light terror movie and if you're into suspense, terror, twists and all then I do suggest renting/buying it!
"Ghosts of Girlfriends Past"
I believe I either saw this movie in the theaters with my boyfriend or we rented it before, but recently I wanted to buy a new movie for the family to watch and well this was the cheapest one they had at Walmart lol! At glance, it looks cheesy and the typical "oh they'll get together in the end" or "something happens in the beginning" and well, it is one of those (but I'm not spilling anything, lol) and it works out in the end of it all. It is a romantic comedy, but it also shares a moral within all the comedy it has. I like movies like these because it really does show a moral through it all and hopefully opens the eyes or views of the people who watch these types of movies. It does start "slowish" at first, but it builds tension and the story/moral as it continues. I would recommend buying/renting it, if you're the type to like watching romantic comedy movies, with morals!
"The Langoliers" and "Sometimes They Come Back"
I'm currently switching back and forth with these two movies. Both are novellas by Stephen King and turned into tv  miniseries/movies. I recently came across a list of novellas of his that were turned into movies or tv miniseries/movies. If you would like this list, here it is and check out which movies you have seen for yourself. I have seen 30 of those movies in that list and that number will grow, trust me on that...I'm a big Stephen King fan."The Langoliers" at first, I didn't think I have seen it, but once I saw previews of it...it seemed familiar to me. I remember when I was younger seeing a similar movie like it and I believe this one's it. So I found it through youtube and started watching it there. "Sometimes They Come Back" was one I just browsed to see what it was about and it definitely caught my attention. Though very recently it also seems I have seen it before, but I won't jump that fast with that thought and will continue to watch it via youtube as well. Here are some previews of both:
 App Recommendations
Since I got my Kindle Fire, I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of applications. Can be a FREE book, definitely FREE apps: games, music, etc that I can download and well check out at first. I already got Solitaire, Bejeweled 2, Netflix, Autodesk Sketchbook, ebuddy, and well other apps that came with the product. Anything that you think I would like to try out I wouldn't mind and of course I will check out the reviews of it first before downloading to see if I like it or not. I appreciate the recommendations if any is given!
New Blog Ahoy!
Well, I caved in and made a blog here on blogspot. I'm sure there's going to be some happy people coming along to read and possibly leave comments- I hope, since this blog is open to the public. I'll try not to add any or much rants in here [and if I do, I won't add names] or talk about very personal stuff, which will be very hard to do- trust me, but I'll try my best.
"The Windy City"
It's true that it should be called that. Yesterday was nice weather out and around the 70s, but today it totally dropped to the 50s. As I check through the windows in my job, that are right in front of my desk literally, you see nothing but clouds and also wind blowing through the small trees in the neighborhood.
View by my desk.
Looks pretty gloomy doesn't it? Its expected to rain as well, but only sprinkles here or there nothing major so far until the night and into tomorrow. We'll see how things go here and if the predictions of a bad winter this year as well is going to happen.
Lunch is on the house, no wait...a tenant!
So a tenant who lives above our office, has offered to buy everyone lunch today. Hrm, I sure wish it wasn't pushed to today, since I did bring lunch with me lol. I never had chicken from this particular place before, its called "Sharks". Of course, given with the name, they do have fish and any other type of food of that sorts there. I hope it's good and well, worth it I guess. She is a nice lady/tenant and I don't mind offers of that sorts from anyone, but it's got to be for everyone not just me though...or I'll feel bad afterwards lol.
Trendy movies
Now, everyone that knows me quite well, or close enough to that, should know I don't watch trendy movies or movies that EVERYONE love. Prime examples are: "Rocky Horror Picture show", "Halloween" series, "A Clockwork Orange", " Donnie Darko", and etc etc...you get the picture. So basically, I have seen all those listed, but not the entire "Halloween" series....just the first one made in 1978- not the remake mind you. I recently watched it, since its close to it being Halloween and cable/tv tends to follow holidays and whatnot, anyways I saw it....I didn't see what the fuss is about. My brother-in-law is a BIG- no pun intended there lol- fan of the series and well, it was not scary at all. I actually fell asleep quite a few times during it and well, the parts I saw weren't scary at all. I was recommended to see the Rob Zombie remake of it, but I'm not even gona go there.
I don't get into those type of scary movies either and that was my official first time seeing that movie and well that type of movie. I have never seen "Hellraiser", "Friday the 13th" series, "Jason" series, and etc etc. They don't catch my eye and well, its usually the same thing happening over and over in each one of them...I'm sure of it. I like scary movies like "Don't be Afraid of the Dark", "The Orphanage", " The Orphan", "Paranormal Activity" series.....stuff like that. It might confuse you, but it's just the way I am and I don't fall into trends quite easily or not at all, with anything. If you want my reviews on any of these movies mentioned, I'll be glad to spill it out in a blog post or so.
Hopefully it stays as peaceful as it is at the moment here at work, if so...it'll be a good day. Its also quiet in here, which at times its a rarity, but this is because someone's out on grounds. No headaches yet, which is a plus and I hope it stays that way for the whole day *knocks on wood*.
